As a data controller, Wellspect (hereinafter also “we”, “our”, “us”) is responsible for the processing of your personal data. This is a request to you for providing a consent to Wellspect to be able to process your personal data for 1) product development register and/or 2) direct marketing purposes.
Please note that your consent to these purposes is voluntary. You will still be provided our products even if you do not consent to personal data processing for the purposes included in this document.
1) Product development register purpose
Within our business, it is important for Wellspect to be able to develop new products as well as improve the existing ones. A crucial part of this process is to be able to find out the opinions of our users (and healthcare professionals). We collect this information through workshops, interviews, marketing questionnaires etc. To be able to find and contact suitable users and request participation in such future product development activities, we hold a register of users of our products who have consented to be included.
2) Direct marketing purpose
As all providers of products, we are keen on staying in touch and let you know what is happening at Wellspect. We do so by sending newsletter and updates by email, or by keeping in contact via social media or by phone. Categories of personal data
We process only the personal data necessary for the purposes outlined in this consent form and attached Privacy Notice. In connection with the purposes mentioned in this consent form, we process the information you provide to us by this form: your name, signature, contact details (email address, phone number, postal address) and the medical device you have in use. For more detailed information, please see the attached Privacy Notice. Please note that possible future product development activities are not in the scope of this specific consent form, but a separate, explicit consent will be requested for such activities.
Consent to processing of your personal data
The personal data relating to you which we will process is defined as special category data (specifically, health data) in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and for United Kingdom, the UK GDPR. To be able to process such special category data, your explicit consent is required. Please note it is voluntary to give such consent.

A withdrawal of consent does not impact the processing of personal data, which already has been performed by us. However, the withdrawal prevents Wellspect from continue collecting and processing your special category data. The special category data collected subject to your consent before the withdrawal may still be processed if legally permitted (e.g. if the information is needed in a legal process).
